In Eten’s kitchen, we use fresh, seasonal ingredients and we really care about what we create.  It’s a passion for cooking that reflects in the quality of our great tasting food. We based Eten Food on a European Traiteur, which literally translates as “caterer.”  In Belgium, where Eten’s chef/owner, Dirk De Cuyper, trained and worked in top restaurants, a traiteur store offers a daily showcase of their chef-prepared foods.

We took this concept of showcasing our food and created our daily Chef’s Case of prepared meat & fish entrees, side dishes & salads.  We also added our Lunch menu, which offers delicious sandwiches, salads, soups and lunch boxes at affordable prices.

Eten Catering is a boutique operation offering customized menus, personalized service and attention to detail for every event. From classic to contemporary, Eten Catering consistently provides exquisite, creatively presented food.Our chefs make everything in-house, so we can innovate and come up with new ideas and dishes, which allows for a unique and diverse range of menu options.

From our “table ready” entertaining platters for casual gatherings, to full service, formal staffed events, we have a range of services to meet your needs. We offer tailored packages for executive lunches, realtor events & yacht crew.

DIRK DE CUYPER

Executive Chef & Owner

Chef Dirk De Cuyper has over 20 years experience working as a chef in a diverse range of kitchens around the world.  He gained his apprenticeship in Belgium where he spent six years training in Classical French and Nouvelle Cuisine, and Pastry.  During his apprenticeship and for a further ten years, he worked in Michelin-star restaurants throughout Belgium.  Since the mid-nineties, Dirk worked as head chef on board private and charter yachts.  Dirk now combines his European training with influences from traveling to produce top quality, creatively presented food each day in Eten’s kitchen.

ALLISON MORGAN

Director of Operations & Owner

Allison has extensive experience in the field of hospitality, having spent 10 years working on board private yachts as a chief stewardess and purser. Prior to this, Allison spent 5 years working in Public Relations and Event Management in London, organizing publicity campaigns for a range of clients. At Eten, Allison is responsible for the day-to-day operations and is always on hand to ensure top quality service.
